Farahehh random texted me saying that she wanna come to my house. I was happy of course! We went lepakking on my bed.. Thankiu Farahehh for helping me in my Chemistry Problem 8. Aku sayang kau. As usual, cam-whoring was a must must. We ate then Farah had to go somewhere. U made my day today babe =)

At least, the first day of LOA was not a bad one. And I'm counting on the days... 6 more days to go people! 6 more days.... Woooh!

P.S: Not to worry people. I'm not infected with H1N1. I'm virus free, for now. Just so happen that a classmate of mine was infected with that, then the whole class had to be on LOA (Leave of Absence). I'll always pray for your speedy recovery. Get well soon team mate =)

And I texted Nan early in the morning wishing him a delicate day throughout. But then, his reply was that, both his parents were out working today so he has to wait for a later birthday celebration. Sad kaper??

He was online the whole day and yeah.. He bacame my victim! Not literally a victim, but rather a companion for a good chat. haha!! I miss getting free KFC chickens from him. That explains the

fishball cheeks in me.

That is why... I'm always a "Yana bambam" to BFF.

Leave Of Absence for a week and will only be back to School on the 6th of July. I pray that the classmate of mine who was hospitalised for H1N1 for a speedy recovery. Get well soon team mate!!

As so, Im not having a good time here because the Wireless connection at my house is giving me a real pain in the neck. I swear!! I can scream at the top of my lungs anytime from now!

JB and movie spree with the kecohrables W56P was AWESOME!! We made it to City Square for Transformers 2. Two thumbs up! Fantastic movie. But before that, we head down to Kotaraya where we had our sumptuos spread of food. The "chendol" was extremely delicious. Fuhh! It's extremely a must must eat for me. Azzy knew me too well and wells, she would always be my number one victim. Nyehh hehh hehh.

Then again, we went Chillax at Starbucks. Azzy got some Apple crumble where this joke on "kayu manis" came about.

Now get the joke? I tell you. Her expression were extremely expressionless and it was totally hilarious. The four of us just couldn't stop laughing at her sardine-ness. Next Wednesday, we're planning on study group cum swimming in the evening. Any takers?? *winks*

Eye pain - Staring at the screen for too long.

Back pain - Sitting for too long.

Leg pain - Sitting for too long which causes the numbness.

But I don't mind all those pain and sitting in the library alone, as long as the MCG expenses claims are done. Finally, alhamdulillah. It's done after working on it for hours. Weehoo!!

And.. My baby is under service.. Please HP Service Centre... Do service and handle my lappy with care aites..

Apart from that, tutoring was funaairr today. After tutoring, play play with the cat. Then my student's nenek had a sharing story session with me. She even cooked mee goreng mamak for me and not forgetting the kuih bakar that she baked. Looking back that she's a Pakistani by blood, fuhh I tell you. Soodaaap laa masakan dia. Yummy yummy.

And finally, Lyy has slowly started on her PP. If not now, then when kan?? Right right?? Not forgetting yesterday's incidence, I must congratz myself and ATIQAH =) for having the strong faith to still continue staying in class despite the very very high temptation of cabot-ing!! Right Atiqah?? Also despite the screwed up presentation, we still survived the whole thingy!! Kan kan kan??? *jumps jumps*

Btw!!! I have this freaking BELO-NESS issue with Azzy!!! Thanks ehk babe... Terserlah lah ke-begokan nya kite... Waahahahaha!! Sungguh laa bacin sey!! Nonetheless, the belo-ness issue at least accompanies me throughout the lonely times in the library =)

That is why....

Those nerves are killing me again. The blue black is slowly reappearing again and I swear it’s hurting me even when I’m sitting quietly. What more walking right? =__= People have been telling me how “dead” my leg is. Even mum says it looks so cacat now. The deformed toe is done and nothing can bring it back to its original shape unless surgery is done.

Back to school today. Back to PBL-ing. Back to pecah kepale otak. Apart from that, I swear I swear!!! RP’s network system is in a total disaster today. Lemme highlight that again. TOTAL DISASTER! The internet connection went haywire. MSN got problem. The electric supply in my class went DEAD just like that. And my lappy went automatically off because the battery was happily residing in my bag. And the whole class had to change class because even after an hour of waiting, the current still did not appear. THANKS eh RP!! You really suck my blood today. *Shucccky*

The pain was excruciating and the swolleness gets worse. This seriously causes the untolerable pain whenever I wanna walk. Thus, mum decided to bring me to see the specialist at Raffles Medical Hospital. BUT!! The worse has yet to come.

After the X-Ray was done, good news! The specialist said that the fractured toe was healing well. So, what causes this pain now? After much inspection, the doc then derived that there's another case that's acting up now. It's the "Mortons' Neuromo".

And the specialist gave me some task to do. To do a read up on what's Mortons' Neuromo is. And below, is what I've got basically on the net.

"Mortons' Neuromo" is an enlarged nerve that usually occurs in the third interspace, which is between the third and fourth toes.

Problems often develop in this area because part of the lateral plantar nerve combines with part of the medial plantar nerve here. When the two nerves combine, they are typically larger in diameter than those going to the other toes. Also, the nerve lies in subcutaneous tissue, just above the fat pad of the foot, c lose to an artery and vein.

Above the nerve is a structure called the deep t ransverse metatarsal ligament. This ligament is very strong, holds the metatarsal bones together, and creates the ceiling of the nerve compartment. With each step, the ground pushes up on the enlarged nerve and the deep transverse metatarsal ligament pushes down. This causes compression in a confined space.

Symptoms:

Tingling, burning, or numbness, Pain.

The progression of a Morton's ne uroma often follows this pattern:
The symptoms begin gradually. At first they occur only occasionally, when wearing narrow-toed shoes or performing certain aggravating activities.
The symptoms may go away temporarily by massaging the foot or by avoiding aggravating shoes or activities.
Over time the symptoms progressively worsen and may persist for several days or weeks.
The symptoms become more intense as the neuroma enlarges and the temporary changes in the nerve become permanent.

Treatment:

One of them is Injection therapy. If there is no s ignificant improvement after initial treatment, injection therapy may be tried.

Surgery may be considered in patients who have not received adequate relief from other treatments. Generally, there are two surgical approaches to treating a neuroma the affected nerve is either removed or released. Your foot and ankle surgeon will determine which approach is best for your condition.

All in all, today's visit alone cost me nearly $300. Fuhhh!!! Berpeluh aku sekarang. And and.. Injection was given. The pain is rather more excruciating now. Haizz. And the specialist gave me an open date for the next appointment. To see the progress of the swollen nerve. And on a heavier note, he says, there might be a possibility of me having to go for the surgery if the swollen does not subside. And this will cost me nearly $5-6K for the surgery itself without adding the subsequent consultation fees.

Hokays, I'm absolutely getting paranoid here 'cause I'm feeling that I'm being such a great burden to my parents. :(

Not only that, the deformation of the fractured toe is done. Means, I'm going to have that deformed toe for the rest of my life. Shucccks!!!!!! I'm gonna hate this even more. Enough said, I'm getting to bed soon.

Looks disgusting? Looks cacat?

Yeah, I know. The right foot with the fractured toe have yet to heal still. This 7th June, it marks exact 3months of the day the toe got fractured. Worst still. I don't know why, but all of a sudden, the whole right foot was swollen. Try comparing the right feet with the left one. There's so much difference lah. Haizz!! I get even disgusted when looking at it. Not only that, this made my walking extremely slow 'cause the swollen thingy is causing too much of pain whenever pressure is added on to it. So, this results to me, "TEMPANG".

Gerek kaper?? Ya.. Even mummy says that my leg is cacat now. Haiz! What a luck. I'm getting irritated looking at the condition of my toe now. It really hinders me from a lot of things. Boring boring...Looks like silat is still a long long way to go..

What to do? Kim Hyun Joong is merely addictive to the eyes =) I know, I know.. He's just so addictive.. Nyehh hehh hehh!

And cuzzie Hilmi and Adli was here today. They went "picnic-ing" outside the house together with kak long and Dydy. Tssk tssk tssk. Sorry I didn't join you guys. The korean drama is totally addictive. And now, Full House 2 is coming soon. I'm so waiting for it! Wee!!

Both of us were extremely shocked when we bumped each other at TRCC on Friday.. We had the same brooch. With the same style of outfit on that particular day. Flowery dress and white top to go with, we looked almost the same. However, this was not the first time it happened. Many times of it during our attachment at A*STAR Biopolis a year ago. Attached to the same department, our colleagues there even confused us a few times. =) Memories working there will always be loved. Right Ayu??

And on Friday, marks the start of the 2 week holidays. Microbiology Lab-session was none other than cam-whoring =)
